Our kids ride on Jeeps are for the child who wants something built to go off the path rather than round it. Boxy, upright, and shaped like the real thing. The range covers the classic Willys in 12v and a 24v three-seater, plus the modern Wrangler Rubicon with leather seats and EVA wheels.

Electric Jeep Ride On Cars for Kids

The Willys Jeeps

The Willys is the shape most people picture when they think of a Jeep, and it works particularly well scaled down because the original was already simple and upright. The 12v version runs four motors and covers ages 2 to 7, which is a wider span than most single-seat ride-ons manage. Above it sits the Hotchkiss three-seater on 24v with twin 200w motors, rated 3 to 9. Three seats is unusual at any price and it changes what the car is for: one child driving and two passengers rather than a single rider going in circles.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

The Rubicon is the modern counterpart, and it's the one a child will recognise from the road. It runs on 12v for ages 3 to 6 with two 35w motors, leather seats and EVA wheels, which are the soft-tyre type that grip better on a patio and make far less noise indoors than hard plastic. Three colours are available. For most families this is the more practical of the two styles, since it's lighter, easier to store and better suited to the driveway-and-garden riding that most ride-ons actually get.

Choosing Between 12v and 24v

Voltage is the main decision here and it follows the child's age. The 12v Willys and Wrangler suit two to six year olds on a garden or driveway, with enough power for flat ground and gentle slopes. The 24v Hotchkiss is a different proposition: more power, three seats, and an age range stretching to nine, which makes it one of the few ride-ons that still fits an older child. It's also considerably bigger, so measure your storage space before ordering rather than after it arrives.
